As a Launch Engineer, you'll supervise Industrialisation Timing, create key documents, oversee investments, commission new equipment, validate processes, and support safety practices to enhance productivity and quality.

Define, follow and supervise Industrialisation Timing including all equipment and tooling in order to meet Customer and ESTRA milestones
Attend and organise Industrialisation Timing reviews
Work according to valid procedures and instructions
Create and present the ME part of the design reviews (RR, PDR, IDR, CDR, PV, PRR)
Create MSD (Manufacturing System Design)
Review project planned investments with the cost estimator
Create PFMEA, Control plan, MSA plan, and all documents required for the process
Follow the program investments, keeping a record of all project spendings aiming to meet or improve the program budget
Provide the Core Team Engineers the proper requirements and targets for the equipment and tooling they are following
Procure extra equipment and tooling not followed by Core Team Engineers
Make specification for new equipment or tooling including related inspection equipment.
Define and develop equipment and tooling timing including design reviews with the suppliers.
Commission the equipment at suppliers and on production site.
Make and collect all documentation required to successfully commission followed machine.
Validate all processes through ZDL (Zero Defect Launch) & PZS
Update BOP and lessons learn
Create and update mBOM
Fulfil all tasks received and related to Change Management System
Initiate and take part in activities to improve scrap and productivity on pre-serial and serial production
Caring for H&S and participation in the development of best practices related to work safety and fire protection at the workplace
Using personal protective equipment required at a given workplace
Compliance with standards regarding working time
Careful and diligent performance of other activities ordered by supervisor, related to work and being in compliance with the law or contract of employment
Wymagania/ kwalifikacje:
Engineer or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or automation or equivalent
Fluency in English
3-5 years working experience of manufacturing/ process engineering in automotive industry
Experience in manufacturing engineering and production process
Knowledge of technical drawing GD&T and 3D modelling
Well-structured and organized in work
Great analytical skills and logical thinking
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of IATF, APQP, VDA, PPAP methodology
Knowledge about automotive industry requirements and standards
Interpersonal and soft skills
Ability to cooperate with other members of the project team and from other departments, companies
Ability to travel to other continents by visiting suppliers, customers and other facilities of company
